We love the Christmas season, and we want you to love it too, so let us take on some of the holiday hassle!
No more random cords dangling, dangerous maneuvering on a ladder in the middle of winter, or mismatched decor ruining your vision.
With Legacy, you create a Christmas light design tailor-made to your home and taste. Then, just leave it to us to install, maintain, remove and store the lights!

Design & quote
Either in-person or via text/email, we do an initial consultation to discuss your vision for your Christmas lights. You pick where you want lighting, the kind and colour of lights you'd like, then using a specialized app, we mock up designs and tweak until you love it! If you're not sure exactly what you want, we are happy to co-create a design and help find a lighting array that makes your home shine!
Installation
We arrange a time to come over to your property and install your custom-ordered Christmas lights following the agreed upon design. We bring all of the required lighting and equipment, so no need for you to worry about anything!
Enjoy your lights
Soak in the season and enjoy your lights, hassle-free! If for any reason there are issues or maintenance required, we will come out and address them at no extra cost to you.
Takedown & storage
Some people want lights taken down January 1st, and others are happy to leave their lights up until April Fool’s Day - we don’t judge! Whenever you decide the season is over and it’s time for the lights to go, we arrange a time to come remove them.
After the lights are removed, we keep the lights and store them until you are ready to put them up again next year!

Each lighting project is unique, reflecting the specific measurements of your home and your personalized design, but with Legacy, most residential holiday lighting projects start at $600 and range from there depending on the home and design.

Can I provide my own lights for you to hang?
No, we don't install any lights you already own. We custom order lights tailor-made to fit your home and which match the design we've agreed on to ensure top quality and a beautiful, professional look.
However, once you order lights with us, we can store, install, and takedown those lights for you year after year!
When does installation and takedown happen?

The Christmas light installation season for us generally goes from November to early-December, while the takedown tends to happen between January-March. But we work hard to accommodate your schedule and preferences. So once we settle on a design and agree to move forward with the installation, we discuss your desired date(s) for installation and takedown, and we'll endeavour to fit your schedule!
What happens if the lights need any kind of maintenance?
What happens if the lights need any kind of maintenance?
We work hard to ensure everything is done right the first time, but of course, things happen, and your light installation may need to be attended to for one reason or another over the course of the season. If that happens, you can contact us by email, phone call, or text, and we will come out the earliest opportunity to get everything is in order, at no extra cost to you.

Legacy is proud to use Canadian company, Big Star Lights, as our Christmas lights supplier. They have a wide variety of light types and colours available, which you can browse at bigstarlights.ca if you'd like!
How does lighting storage work?
How does lighting storage work?
Built into the cost of your custom holiday lighting with Legacy is the lighting storage. Part of the pain with Christmas lights is managing their organization and storage during the off-season, so we take care of that for you! Once we remove the Christmas lights from your home, we pack them up and store them in a secure location. If you choose to put the same lights up the following year, you'll receive a discounted rate on the installation.
